Fuel Bank Portal Changes

Fuel Bank Portal Changes Featured Image

There have been some changes to the Fuel Bank portal. Going forward, if you wish to cancel a voucher or resend a voucher to an applicant you can use the buttons found in the ‘Submitted Applications’ section of the portal.

This means that you no longer need to send us an email, just press the cancel or resend button and your request will be sent across to us.

Please note: The resend button will only allow for the code to be resent using the same details as the original request.   If you wish to change any details, please cancel the voucher and resubmit the request via the portal.

Here are a few reminders

  • Fuel Bank cannot change the details of an application once it has been submitted so, please make sure you double check the phone number or email address that the voucher is being sent to prior to submitting.
  • Errors in phone numbers and email addresses causes delays in issuing the voucher to the client.
  • To help with this, you will now be asked to confirm the client’s phone number and email address during the application process.

There are 3 main reasons that a voucher would be rejected:

  • The client has received 1 or more vouchers in the last 10 days
  • The client has received 3 or more vouchers in the last 6 months
  • Possible fraud

If you receive a message that the application has been rejected due to possible fraud, then this is likely to be because:

  • The phone number or email address has been used with another person’s details
  • The address has been used previously with a different name and phone number
  • We may not be able to share specific information due to GDPR, but if you have any queries about possible fraud rejections please contact partnersupport@fuelbankfoundation.org and we will investigate for you
  • We sent you communications earlier this month regarding fraudulent attempts to access vouchers. To ensure that we can continue supporting as many people as possible, it is crucial that everyone is doing all they can to make sure that only genuine clients are referred to Fuel Bank for support

Any incidents of suspected/actual fraud or suspicious activity should be reported to partnersupport@fuelbankfoundation.org.

Thank you for your continued support.
